I am sure that was a typo Kesslan, I assume you mean 35+ base

35% base gives you around 71-72% base in the final piece, so basically anything above 30% segments is quite good.

I got 67% base the other day with some 31% base segs. one of 'em sliced up to 89% base, not bad

No. I said what I ment. 25+ base is quite workable. Pre-slice you can easily make 60 base composite with 25 base Krayt segments. Even a 10 percent effectiveness slice will push it up into the 66 realm. Which makes it fine for every day PVE combat. And a max slice can push it to about 87 to all resists. And it will still be very low HAM. Or if you get an encumberance slice like I did on mine. it makes for a very... very light piece of armor. (Got the HAM down to 16/14/181 with a 21 encumberance slice)

I wouldnt pay boatlaods for 25 base segments. But I'd certainly still use them. (And in my case the 25 base segs were provided by a guildmate for free so why not)

Not to metnion it wound up with 2 points shy of 44k Condition.

Just used some 54% segs to make 80% out of the gate with 50k condition, too bad both pieces got encumb slices.

Hey rave, those are nice segments. Best ive looted to date are 44%. The ones you looted will make all 80% base before slice easy on chilly. With 35% base im able to do 72% base armors on our server, so the most you need for 80 base is 43%. Just a heads up for you mate. Nice segments.
