This may be a stupid question: are you experimenting on the final product? You should.

post the materials used and how much you experimented in the layer, segment, and final combines.

heh that seems a little better.

Was going to ask if you are using advanced comp segments or regular.

But it seems you are working things out. The way I make my kinetic armor is this way

3 layers exp all the way on base(leftover in HAM)

Segment exp all on base(leftover in HAM)

FInal combine max base(leftover in HAM)

Always end up with 80% kinetic 70-72% base

thats assuming your ressouces are up to par.

Yourgoal as armorsmith when making volumekinetic compositeis to use the junkiest resources possible and still achieve 80/80/70.... it has been my experience that at least one point will need to be spent in segment experimentation to get that oh so valuable 80% electric. double 80 always sells better thank lower encumbrance 80/78-79/70 base stuff. (assuming youre not using uber stuff and getting 71-72 base... what a waste)

I always like 78-79 electric stuff. Lol, somehow it makes me think that the as sacrificed electric to get lower ham (after all, i am not about to start adding up ham costs). HAHA, really, what he is doing is using crap. Haha, wow, this has opened my eyes (by the way, 79/80/70 is defenently not crap).
