im goin to be gettin x2xx tailor soon so i can pump my own stuff for armor, but i saw somethin called armor paddin in the x3xx box, does that armor paddin do anything?

Armor padding is only needed for the Kashyyyk (wookie) armor and is the only tailor component that has an effect on the quality of the armor. I usually get a master tailor to make a schematic for me, gain the benefit of their experimentation points.
