ok, i went to 4 different vendors yesterday, the first vendor, i brought a crate of PSG's, on the vendor the crate said 47% LS protection, so, pulled a PSG outta the crate, NO LS resists, this continued with the other 3 vendors.
In all i brought 6 crates of PSG's and thay are all useless without LS protection.
So whats up??? DO they work on sabers or what????

Its a bug. As soon as they are pulled they lose LS Resist. I just posted to the dev's to address this issue. The only way to get around it, that doesn't always work, is to equip it as soon as you pull it, then examine it. If you log off, it will lose the LS Resist, too. Not much you can do. I heard a rumor that if you store the equipped PSG in your droid, it will not decay. Haven't tried it yet, as I'm weary to even spend 35k on a PSG that's not good for what I need it for. Hopefully, they will fix this soon. All the armorsmiths should be pissed, too, as it makes them look bad for selling cheap products that don't work like they should. I understand they have to sell if for profit, but until this is addressed, I wouldn't buy them, unless crated. Even then there is a risk.

If you pull them out of the crate, they will have their LS resists again. BTW does anyone know if I can wear a PSG with an ubese bandoleer?

PSG's go in the belt slot, bandoliers are in the backpack slot.

The way that Lightsaber resists on work on a PSG has nothing to do with the crating of them. You can grab a crate of PSGs with no Lightsaber resists, pull one out of the crate, and have it sliced. Immediately upon slicing, your PSG will receive Lightsaber resists equal to the base % (post slice) effectiveness of the PSG. If you log out for longer than 30 minutes or if the server reboots itself overnight, your PSG will lose its LS resists. When that happens, simply pull another PSG out of the crate and have it sliced. Tried and true. Works every time. I usually get a new one sliced every day or so.

I just noticed that the LS resists dropped off my CRATED Imp PSG's. The last time I checked them, the LS resists were still there...looks like SOE broke/nerfed them. These things are a pain to make, now...the whole batch is pretty much useless....wonderful! Guess I'll just put them in storage until the CU.
