Thread: Only getting +311 on final craft. Anyone else have this prob?

I just ran some quad energy layered cores with the following stats:
3630 Kinetic
7748 Energy
5689 Base
I knew that the base would cap at 6000. This did not surprise me. What did surprise me was the fact that the kinetic and energy stats did NOT receive the full 400 points from appearance, but only received the +311 that capped the base. So instead of having armor with 4030 kinetic and 8148 energy, my armor has the following stats after final crafting:
3941 Kinetic
8059 Energy
6000 Base
Is this a known bug and I just haven't seen it mentioned? Am I the only person having this problem? This needs to be fixed fast because armor at 8148 will sell faster than armor at 8059..even if the actual difference in protection is hardly noticible. Maybe it's because I'm a newish armorsmith and just have never capped the base before. I'm guessing if it's a known issue that you all find some way to keep the base low enough that it doesn't cap prematurely? Feedback on this would be helpful before I /bug it in game. I've got 80+ suits of armor riding on this. :-/

Ah I see it's time again for our regular asking of the final addition question again
If you exceed 5600 on your cores for the SP, then the final addition will diminish the closer to 6000 your SP is. To calculate your final addition is easy:
6000 - SP stat on cores (if > 5600)= Final addition value
So as per your original post:
6000 - 5689 = 311
