While the colour orange isnt available as a primary. you can still get orange on a BH suit. For example a suit I made for my combat toon (Basically red with gold highlights) The plates turned out red and trim gold like they were supposed to. But the rest of the suit (basically the 'cloth' underneath the armor plating) turned orange. So you may have seen something similar to that perhaps.

I have an alternative explanation.
CSR's can change the colors of armor also. They can color it to any color they wish to.
No idea how to sweet talk them into giving you a orange suit of Bounty Hunter armor though.

This is probably what you saw...With BH armor, there is really three colors. You choose the main and trim colors for the metal and the cloth is the result of mixing those to colors together. (So red with white trim is pink cloth, and blue/red is purple, etc). So for an orange cloth on the armor, you would need a red/yellow combination for the metal.

As others have said orange can be done, but its a mix of red and yellow. I crafted a nice 350 hp set yesterday fully primus layered 7585K 5585E 6000B using red base colour and yellow highlights and the orange colour really stands out on the lower chestplate and leggings. Looks a great suit, very striking

speaking of pink. The hell is up with all the pink suits of BH armor I've seen floating about on Bria lately?

QFE, my top 5 are:

1. Black with red trim (I no longer make this out of disgust lol)

2. Red with black trim (same, refuse to build it lmao)

3. Pink with something (usually black, or oddly teal)

4. Green with something (usually tan)

5. Blue with silver / blue with gold

I can't make number 2, no red choice in base colour box

I also get black with gold trim which looks quite good
