what kinda BH has 3k energy protection
Any Bounty Hunter that wears crafted Bounty Hunter Armor while hunting marks is a fool anyway, they should be wearing either Recon or Battle armor. Of course, they can always go for 6k energy layered crafted bh armor.
I stick to my 6k battle as it gives the even levels of protection, although I'll probably start carrying energy layered battle and kinetic layered comp depending on what I'm doing.
Too bad there's no crafty armorsmith out there that can make a armorsmith webpage like this:
http://tkfashion.swgentertainer.com/<---Clicky impaired.
Imagine if your customers could use a webpage like that, to checkout the colors, see them how they looks on each armorpiece before they come to you.
Add to that a color chart with numbers for each armor palette, so he could say "I want a Chitin Bicep color 23A and 12B, padded chest 23A and 13C"
Only reason I'm not buying armor on my non stormtrooper toons, is not the price(its cheaper than faction armor..), but the fact so few armorsmiths offer custom jobs, and the fact, as a non armorsmith, there's no way for me to plan out the colors up front. It's a "mix and pray" right now.

i think its because so many people want custom armour and the amount of time it takes to make and with the colour bug all a lot of AS do is craft by hand that they just cant be bothered with custom orders
have pratically burnt my self out making all my armour for customers im looking forward to a rest
