Thread: List of factory produced armors that occasionally come out in the right color.

As most of us know, most factory produced armor pieces come out in more or less bugged colors.

A few work most of the time though, and I thought I'd share my limited experiences with the rest of you.

One small tip: When doing these runs, I only put in resources for 1 piece in the beginning. When the piece is created, I pick it up and check if the color is right; if not I'll make a new schem, if it's good I put in resources for the rest of the run (I *think* that it is the schematic itself that is bugged, not the factory or the crates).

Anyway, the armor types/colors that work most of the time for me is:

Marauder: All black

Chitin: All dull-blue (the color in the low left corner)

Composite: White

Padded: Black/black, white/black (new)

Tantel: Black

Reputedly, white ubese works out as well, I havn't tested it yet though.

Edit: Updated with a few more combinations that work for me.

Edit again: More updates. This time around, I have had success with white base padded with black paddings (it even looks good too and I will test some more combinations with padded.

Padded: All black padded does work.
Ubese: Black ubese bracers and leggings work. Jackets and helmets do not.
Bone: Chest plates, helmets, and leggings do not work.

I've had no problem with padded chest plates comming out black as I intended. I am distubed at the pink colo Marauder legs come out when you leave it set to the default colors.

Fixed my post regarding black padded chest plates. I realized I always make these by hand in various black/other color combos so people could use them with the black arms and legs to customize their suit just a bit.

Any other colors working as intended? Any other info on it being the schematic vs. the factory that's bugged?

White composite seems to be all right, and white ubese is reputedly working too.

I tried to make some black ubese boots, white/red padded boots and red composite boots - these all failed and I didn't retry..

Fixed!

We have finally identified the cause of this bug.

In certain cases some types of crafting data was being "lost" in the
process: and this impacts the armorsmiths and tailoring the most (but I
wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't been causing a few other oddball
crafting problems here and there as well).

We're planning on a hotfix to be delivered to you between publish 21 and publish 22.
