As you may have guessed, I'm a Twi'lek master armorsmith. I've gotten about a million requests for stormtrooper armor, and I'm thinking about going Imperial so I can make some cash that way.
What's the lowest FP price you've seen for a non-human Imperial to buy a full set of stormtrooper armor schematics (eg, on a heavily-Imperial planet) ?

I'm a twi imp armorsmith, make faction armor.
It usually costs me on average 10-15k faction to get a full suit worth of schematics when the planet is well in our favor.
Have seen it go up pretty steep if it's not tho.

Dammit. The rebellion has every planet in our galaxy but naboo, and I think naboo is like 300-100 ish

The alien penalty is pretty harsh. I was paying somehting like 9k faction per suit for reb stuff, and now usually end up paying about double that as an Imperial (Zabby, though, not a Twi).

Hi, so as a rebel you spent 90k faction points just to get the schematics? I am trying to price getting started and had a smuggler quote me 50 credits per faction so to make 10 suits am i looking at 4.5 million credits just for faction?

As a reb, I spent 9k faction or so per schem set, so 27k faction to get schems for all three armor types. That was on a planet where the war was heavily in the rebellion's favor, something ridiculous like 500 to 1 as the gcw score and only happened once. More typical 'good' prices were 12kish per suit of schems or 36k for all schems. Basically, somewhere between 1000-1500 faction per produced suit.
My prices as an imperial have been 80-110% more on the two occasions I bought schems so far.
You have to be very mindful of the GCW score, it influences the faction item prices greatly.
edit: as an aside the rebellion won cries of alderaan on my server, so the prices listed include the imperial discount due to that

ANother tip is to have an inspiration buff on whenever you buy faction as a smuggler or have it delegated to you from osmeone else. The 10% bonus applies any time you gain faction, regardless of how (same with the Cries bonus if you are on the winning side for your server). If you are buying from a smuggler friend and they are buying from the recruiter while inspired, you can whiddle a nice chunk off of the cost that way. They get a 10% bonus on what they buy, then you get another 10% bonus on what they delegate to you (minus the delegation penalty).

it works out for me to around 1-1.5 mill to buy faction from someone else to get the schems.
So I charge a set rate of 200k extra per suit for faction armor, people that are interested in faction armor don't seem to mind paying extra, and I get more then enough to cover faction costs.

Im trandosian :S and rebels are heavy in favor on most planets Imperial outpost is best for me 27k on 10 schematics (1 set)

Man wish I coudl get rates like that. Best rates I've found as a rebel on bria is about 10k FP. Also keep in mind folks. That IF. you decide your only going to be crafting as an AS on that toon and want some combat abilities. Your actually by far better off going master smuggler. As then you can buy your own FP (Usually cheaper than buying it. Only way you ever get it cheaper is off a non smuggler, guildmates etc) AND. It supposedly discounts the actual cost of buying the schematics (The dialogue will still I belive quote the 'normal' prices. But it definately doesnt cost you as much to buy the items). Interestingly enough it also seems to cost a smuggler less FP to bio-link factional armor.
