This is a perfect place to add the color customization kits. Make them available at novice for grinders, but the palette of the kit depends on the crafters armor customization skills, so you can't make full palette kits till master...two birds, one stone.

I think you'll find that LeviticusD was rekindling the suggestion that we should be able to build armour customization kits despite the fact that custom kits so far have been artisan items.

Give the..woman (?) a cookie, thats an excellent idea. Got a feeling if we do get those kits they'll need other components.

Why don't they make ACKs?(wow even the abrevation sounds cool lol) You can colour Ships and vechicles, why not armour? The only thing I can think is maybe it would be easy to do with comp and Bone(one colour) but a lot harder to do with Marauder and Kashyyykian Hunting(four colours). Only reason I see to not make them. I mean they accidently left in the comp colour change option(I heard left over from Beta) so the option is possible.

FOCUS GUYS FOCUS.

Segs are okay but they only generate about 30xp it's such a slow grind for that. Mabari just cost too much in resources and unfortunately I'm on infinity and everything cost too much.

So any other suggestions?

There was a long thread with discussion about that. To cut it short, there also is a number of AS out there who don't just log in, control their factories, fill the vendors and then go their ways, but want to be seen as an AS. Those people work similar to tailors, they craft the armours directly on order of the customer, usually with the customer even being present and testing right away to confirm the personal styling.

This way of business, while not making the bulk of armour sales, would effectively be killed if those armour customisation kits would be available.
