I was wondering if I could get a little help with some new armor. My old composite got destroyed at the Corvette and now I'm in the market for something new. I got sick of composite. It's encumbrance is just too high for me, and I can't always be buffed. I'm looking at either Chitin or Ubese. I hear that Chitin has good encumbrance, and that's great for me. It also looks pretty cool. Is it a good choice? I would need high kinetic resists, but that's about it. So, should I try Chitin or just go with Ubese? Thanks in advance.

I'd say Ubese, it has much lower ham and you can get almost as high a Kinetic Resist % as you get with comp.
My ubese for example is currently running around 74% Kin
And I can wear the whole thing without buffs

do this
either ubese 74% kientic
or
full set chitlin with composite chestplate
ubese goes through jackets pretty fast and there are no bicep peices. By doing a full set of chitlin (at leat 55%) and doing the composite chest you have 80% resist in the place you are hit the most and very light for the rest of the set.

Thanks guys! So a full set of chitin isn't as good as a set of ubese? What are the average stats on a set of chitin?

Im thinking of starting a Tailor Components shop on my server and i know you guys use a lot of these. Some of which you can produce and some you need those 3 boxes of tailor for.
The questions.
If there was such a shop on your server were you could buy all these supplies would you shop there instead of making these things in your own factories?
2nd Which of the components does an Armorsmith use the most??
Thanks for any help!

I do use one yes. I buy all the reinforced fiberpanels, synthetic cloth, and fiberpanels I need from the one shop. As long as they are always stocked when I come, I'll continue to do so.

100-150 per item on the reinforced fiberpanels. I usually pay to have a syn cloth schem made because they can use crap resources and I already have the factories.

I dropped tailor with the CU, and I've been much happier buying tailor components.
Tip: Give each factory run a unique name, such as RFP 0725 for crates of reinforced fiber panels you started running today. Makes it easier for the customer to purchase same-serial crates for schematics. You can also package factory runs in packs but make sure you have a lot of loose crates. Lots of us have full inventories and will make multiple trips.
Don't forget armor padding for wookiee armor. Stats of the hide and fiberplast don't matter on this stuff now.
