I am a Rebel and I would reall, really like to get a set of Rebel Recon and Assault armor however I am having a devil of a time finding a AS who knows how to make the stuff.

So I ask the quest at large (since there is also no sticky or FAQ that I found the mantions this specifically)

1. How does an AS obtain the schematics for the factional armor?

2. What materials are needed for the armor?

3. What materials should, I the customer get for you , to make the job easier?

I have yet to find anyone stocking the stuff, and the As I can find are drawing blanks too. I know the stuff can be real decent and as a Rebel, I dont want to be consigned to looking like a Cylon (comp) or a ST (Katryn).

Any help would be appreciated. Also if any AS from CHilastra see this, PM me with quotes as I really do want to buy a set.

check this thread for someone who can do it, and donating FP to your AS is always helpful (that is about all you can do to help)

1) Any rebel-aligned master armorsmith can buy the schematics from a rebel recruiter using faction points.
2) Nothing unusual. Most armorsmiths will have the needed materials.
3) Credits or faction points. Lots of either.

You might also want to wade through the bazaar listings for packs (wearable containers) on the bazaar. I get the feeling most faction armor is sold as complete prepackaged suits.

Varies widely depending on whether the armorsmith's side is winning the GCW on the planet and by how much. If the smith is a nonhuman Imperial, the prices are even higher.

I didnt think to look for packs with full armor sets :-)

One more question..howmany FPs does it cost a AS to get the schematics?
