Personally I'd beg to differ on this, that 12 pt means nothing anymore and is useless but I'll wait until my testing is done before I vent my spleen on the boards.

Well, you can't argue that you can put the extra points to good use in PSG crafting. I know that's hardly earth-shaking. I'd agree that 3k more condition and the ability to save a good success are no reason to drop 20 million or more.

But I know I get hardly any good successes (or worse) when I've got my suit on, but I turn into a bumbling idiot without it.

All in all, I'd definitely want the 12-point suit. At least on Scylla, the price of tapes has come way, way down. So if I could get to 12 points for four or five million, I'd do it. To the original poster, your suit has some value, but I doubt very much you'll come close to getting your money back.

That and I also have noticed that my odds have drastically increased of getting 4 sockets on my pieces with my suit on than without as well, without it on I feel like I'm playing the slots in vegas. very poor odds iow

Also would agree that I wouldnt expect to get my money back if I were you, tapes have gone down in price dramatically lately. I've also seen tapes for sale in the tempest forums that laregly go ignored anymore.... well that is once I got my 12 pt suit finished

I spent so much money becoming a 12 point smith.

Oh well, at least I had one whole year playing a 12 point smith when it meant something.

well it isn't like the old days where you could sell that stuff for 50 million+, but some people would still like it. I for one would gladly buy them. I do almost all custom orders and doing it by hand I would love those extra points if I have a sudden failure and not want to just give up on a piece.
