Thread: R.I.S. Armor Help Needed!!!!

Ok I have read many of the guides and forum posts on the R.I.S. Armor and still can not determine the difficulty of obtaining several of the animal required parts needed. I plan to open a vendor and produce the specialized armor at a steady pace. Is this possible to consistently create many of these armors?

Yeah, it would be possible. How many is many? It's not like the stuff will fly off the shelves if it is priced appropriately. You just have to be able to afford to pay the hunters.
The woolamader shards are easy to get. The harrowers are at a POI, they spawn every 5 minutes or so, the drop rate is high, and they aren't hard to take down. Smart hunters can find the gurk kings, the nest is soloable, and the drop rate isn't too bad.
Giant dune kimogila scales are the limiting factor. This is the rarest loot, and if you read through the forums, you'll see that people have widely varying experiences with them. Plus they are a level 82 (83?) MOB. But in my personal experience, the scales seems to be a lot more common now. Prices have been cut in half on Scylla. When I was hunting them with my ranger alt, I had pretty good luck getting scales.

Thanks, thats what I was wondering because I wasnt sure whether or not the Scales would take up to much of my time to find that it wouldnt be worth it. I have an alternate that I plan on using to hunt for them so thanks for the advice1
