I'm creating an armorsmith/weaponsmith character and I was wondering if there is a specific race to choose that can benefit a character like this. Meaning what species (if any) get a bonus to weaponsmithing or armorsmithing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Rodians and Mon Cal get a modest bonus to weapon assembly. However, no one gets a bonus to weapon (or I think armor) EXPERIMENTATION, which a lot of people would kill for.
so basically, no.

the two coloring are totally separate. at master AS you will get every color possible.

I read the Armorsmith guide and didn't see this addressed, so I apologize if I'm covering old territory here. I'm considering going Armorsmith (with my alt character), and I read how Tailor could be helpful for synthclothe and reinforced fiberplast panels. But I was wondering if Tailoring would also provide additional coloring options for armor as well. Or are the two customization skillstotally separate from one another? Just wondering so I can plot how best to invest mylimitedskill points. Many thanks for any information anyone can give.

I am waiting untill I max xp to train inv 1 and 2 because I have been repeatedly told this is a good idea. I was wondering what kind of stats my marks will have when I get inv 2 trained.I am currently facing anywhere from 8-10k HAM stats on my targets.Does this increase with each investigation box? I am just curious, since I dont like running into people with rancorsize HAMs unprepared. Thanks for any help you can give me.

The marks do not get that much harder, if any at all. At least i didn't see too much of a difference.. But its been a while, and they might have changed. At master level, they are still fairly easy. You won't see any with rancor size hams.

I just trained in investigation 2 last night and have 5000 towards investigation 3 so far. The marks are the same difficulty from what I have seen just that you have to use the droids to hunt them down. The first 2 marks i tried that were level 2 ended up spawning in the middle of outposts and players whacked them for me. Luckily I got a couple shots in at each and got my xp still. I think the only difference is now you have to track them down so you need to be ready when you run across them.

Same stuff that can be foraged at scout unfortunately.
Sorry!!
Though we have hopes of wedding cakes in the future lol. There are a lot of good ideas for forage in the Outdoorsman post I believe - which has just been revamped. Lots of good ranger ideas in there!

Does anyone know if you picked up ch 0003, would you be able to pull out 2 bomb droids? If this has been tested, can you detonate them at the same time. Thanks.
