Are the scale even dropping for the RIS armor. I have killed a number of GDK but only get kimo not the GDK scales. Can these be used in RIS armor?

Just killed 3 GDK at Kimo Town..
No loot on the first two kills -- got 8 scales on the third (*sigh*), exact name.. "Giant Dune Kimogila Scales"..

Killed two more..got nothing on the first, andsix Adv Battle Cores on the second..woot!~* 
Loot tables are messed up I think..kinda a tease how I goteight off of one and none off of the other four..meh..just need one more..

No, you can't use the white octagonal kimogila scales in RIS.
Keep killing; GDK scale drops are rare. If you kill forty with no drop, then you can come back and complain

I've killed 40 with no drop? can i complain?
lol, seriously thouhg, right before that 40, i killed 5 and had 3 drops lol. Should have quit while i was ahead hehe.

Just killed 5 more, got another 8 Adv Battle Cores off of the second..
Nothing else..
Bottom line, they don't drop 'em too very much..

40 and no drop? Odd.
Every time I've gone out to kill GDKs for scales. Usually for various reason (One guildmate wanted a suit of RIS. So out we went then. Another time a fellow AS in my guild wanted to do the RIS quest. So out we went again) we got GDK scales dropping bout every 3rd-10th GDK.
Luck perhaps. But I dunno. I sure havent had the problems getting scales that I used to.

80 does seem very low.
My drop rateis around 5%. Meaning on average, I'd get a stack every 20 kills.
I can go for about 50 without a single loot, then get 2 in a row.
Hang in there, you'll eventually loot some.

i went a few weeks ago with a couple of guildies and in 5 kills we had 2 drops of gdk and 1 drop of cores, so im definatley not complaining
At least I know I'm not wasting time.
