I just crafted my first run of padding and found that it ended up with stats unlike syncloth or fiber panels. Do the stats of the padding reflect in the quality of the armor?

Stats? What stats exaxtly? You can still experiment armor padding, but it doesn't do anything. None of my padding has stats.

I'd be verry supprised if you actually got stats out of it. Armorpadding hasnt had any stats at all since CU. Experimentation lines still. yes. But no stats. And all the experimentation stuff is a holdover from CU. When armorpadding quality actually mattered a great deal.

I thought it went toward condition now in the final assembly. I'll have to check this out.

OK OK. pls let me admit something. I was crafting these things for the very first time after the normal time I leave for work. Its not like SWG ever makes me late for work or bed or just about anything thing else else in my life. Being that I wanted to get these things in the factory, I busted out a schematic where the verticle bar was next to the resource slots and I did get to experiment. I didn't have time to check things over real good so I just assumed there were quality stats given being that other taylored items like padding didn't do that. Thanks for clearifying things regarding the non-exhistance of quality on padding and another thing that should be addressed in patch 420.

You need to be a tailor with field wear 3.
