Note: I used 7% base rancor hides on this chest.... the rest of the suit is with 4% and 6% hides. Cheers!

Look at it this way, with a 35% eff slice its now 71% energy

I made me a chest legs and boots so far from Acklay hide, amazing stuff too, was 44% base and like 30k integrity had special of blast,energy, heat and acid.

so now its only vul to stun but..

46k condition

80% energy

35% blast

25% acid

25% heat

74% base

chest was only 142 health encum w00t!!!

got eff slice on both the chest and legs, encum on boots.

the chest and legs are now 90% base I'll have to show a pic of it someday

Well the whole point of making this armor was to give my rifleman in training some non-comp/ubese armor that he could wear unbuffed

Im going to take faded_one's advice and make another couple suits with krayt scales... maybe between the two it will be light enough to wear.

I use advanced segs for my grinding padded. Throw in two kinetic layers with some mediocre Nightsister shards and I end up with 76% kinetic with good encumbrance. Then again, I've always enjoyed hunting Nightsisters with my alt, so I've got a ton of mediocre (between 15/15/15 and 20/20/20) shards laying around.
