Ok so as a master i was able to make 98% kits now i only have 6 points to place for experimontation and 12 points on armor with experimontation points. Why did it go from 12 to 6 points any suggestions?

Wellrepair kits use artisan experiment points not armorsmith ones. Are you still a master artisan it sounds like you got rid of the domestic tree in artisan which gives you artisan exp points.since in your sig you seem to be in a huge number ofprofessions I'm guessing you listed all the ones you have ever mastered?

What the hell is up with these kits..I used a 98.1 armor reapir kit on my ubese boots and they were not even down 70% of there max conition and it destoyed them.....this is a load of crap..I can deal with my armor loseing some conition every time but whats the point of buying high quality repair kits if they can destoy armor or weaponsjust like the cheap ones.....

why would you repair it at 70%? as a rule of thumb 37% is what I'd adviseyou repair at. It lets you get a good deal of use out of it before the repair.A suit at 99.99 conditon is just as likely to break as one at 50%. note no solid data just from what I've found doing reapir work. Next time try and find a armorsmith with some +repair skill tapes up to 6+ myself and I get better results and well as less "breaks".

Its very closly related to the conductivity. Using 999 conductivity, I can make 99.9 rated tools. WIth 954 conductivity I get 95.4 rating.

Using 1000 conductivity copper I get 99.99 functionality repair tools. On the day of the experimenting change patch I was able to make schematics for 100 functionality tools.

Conductivity and having 10 points of artisan expeimentation are all that you need.

What exactly does the % on an ARK effect? Chance of repair? Amount of successful repair?

Also, SORTIVE off-topic- but we were told that below a certain % armor becomes unrepairable. The FAQ doesn't liste anythign about that, is there a general rule of thumb? like 20%?

As far as we can tell, a higher rating is just better. Sadly thats the best we get as an explanation. 0 armor is unrepairable and dosen't provide protection, anything above this is fixable, but below 50% it gets more likely there will be bad results.

In my hands, AKA Armor Destroyer kits. I understand that an AS has to make money but isn't the rapid decay enough? Why do I have to constantly have to hunt for replacement suit parts when i'm using 99.8 toolkits. I'm beginning to to think that little number means jack

Lol, yeah it is just a crapshoot anyhow. I actually use 93% tools for most things. Hardly worth wasting my good copper.
