ok well im a bh except i am only certified to wear battle and assault armor which do not help much when hunting jedi... Is it possible to layer either type or both so that they would offer the same protection as a suit of say 8k 4k recon armor or 7.5k 5.5k recon armor?

The cap on energy layered kinetic is 5800k/6200e/6000b.
For the energy layeredbattle it is 4800k/7200e/6000b.
