Thread: Question: Looted layers and ench. sets

hi there,
I have a questionabout how many sets of layers and ench. needed to make a segment.
ie 3 ns layers + 1 janta hide or whatever, for every piece of armor.
I am trying to minimize the cost of looted items to make an armor that way

well, that depends on what type of armor you want ot use the hides in. composit has 3 lair slots and 1 enhansment slot. only use NS lairs if you want a lower ham pece or armor, or if you can find something better than 5% base (that is the cap on all of the normal crafted lairs). and it also depends on what pece of armor you want to make, for example a chest plate requires 4 identical armor segments, 3 for legs and helm, 1 for the gloves, and 2 for everythign else. so if you want to make a chest plate with 3 NS lairs and 1 janta hide in each seg yo uwould need 12 NS segs and 4 janta hide (3 segs and 1 for the schematic).

yes but since u cannot loot 12 identical ns layers Idont get it how its done.
my armorsmith told me that u can combine them or somthing like that (for the chest atleast)

The NS Layers in the composite segment itself donthave to be identical.
All three can have different serials.
Simply put, you use NS layer serial 1, NS layer serial 2, NS layer serial3 and Janta Hide serial 4 to make a Composite Segment schematic.
In order to make a chestplate you need 4 identical (factory made) composite segments so you need another 4 NS layers serial 1, another 4 NS layers serial 2, another 4 NS layers serial 3 and another 4 Janta Hides serial 4.
So 5 of each of the 4 different seriallayers/enhancers in total in order to make a chestplate.
