Ever since I started wearing an Armorsmith title, I keep getting folks asking me to repair their armor for them. Now I'm a nice guy and am more than happy to help people out, but I am not sure why people want me to do this. As far as I can tell, I get no repair bonuses but everyone seems to think I do.
I'm sure this has been asked a thousands times, but do I get some kind of repair bonus that does not show up in the skills box? I've turned away about 20 folks just because I dont want to risk breaking their armor for them if I get no more bonuses than they do. They are potential customers, after all!
Thanks for any help. It sucks being a newb all over again.

No we don't get a repair bonus. I fail to repair my own armor all the time.

We were supposed to get repair bonuses, but of couse they were messed up and didn't work. When someone asks for repairs I always give a disclaimer of won't be responsible for breakage when I repair, just so people don't yell at me.

Nope, smiths don't get a repair bonus. In fact, anyone can wear the skill tapes for repair bonus up to +20 and still get crit fails. It'll be fixed when some one can come up with a good reason why an armorsmith would WANT to repair suits. For me, it's not economically sound. Why would I repair for 5k per piece, when I am sellingbrand new piecesfor 12k?
