get banned around here.
Why ? Ask yourself: what did the Correspondent's getting removed did or didn't do ? The Devs will do what they will...if they had gone ahead but not taken this step, would people be so fired. up about everything still ? Nope.
Just relax, takea deep breath, start a petition on the CHANGES (not the Corr being mistreated) or something. Focus on the game.
Don't get banned, cause they quite often come with in-game bannings these days. Use your heads, stick it out. The reason you leave should be because you got fed with up with the GAME, not with the mods or Tiggs or TH (who are community relations and not the people coding the game)
You have people like Blixtev and others who code the game and who are extremely sensitive and responsive to requests. Keep it cool, keep it on the boards and things will work out.
That's the best one can do.

I agree, now is the time to organize and start putting pressure on the devs now that more people have become aware of our plight.

Part of the reason people are unhappy is because the issues just don't seem to be getting through. This has been a long time coming. When you have bad community relations, you have a bad game, period.

I agree. If you enjoy the game currently, just leave it alone. I do think it was too bad that the armorsmith correspontant was demoted for what happened, and I know there are a few mods/devs that are being childish, but you have to live with it and let whatever happens happen. Mass threads about the same thing over and over aren't going to get you anywhere.

I know a lot of armorsmiths are upset and this is the kind of thing that would make them leave them game so they really dont care if they get banned or not cause this type of behavior is the kind of thing that make them just want to leave and go play WOW or some other game. One of the best things about swg is the crafting and player made economy.. if they screw that then people could just go play WOW and play a game that has better pvp and fighting abilities... not to mention other mmo's out there that are based solely on fighting and loot.

Putting "pressure" on Devs never works. Only thing which works is "engagement".
The only people who you'll be putting pressure on is Customer Service, and they will be heavy handed in their response. Community Relations is a section of Customer Service and GarVa, TH, Tiggs, the mods around here are all part of the same boat. Anything you try to put "pressure" against will only reach them as they'll lock it up.
Instead, engage. Mobilize, but be polite. Don't start making calls, shooting emails and filling in-boxes. Keep it to the boards and be polite. That's the best one can do.
Remember, if you dont give Customer Service a reason to lock up your threads, it just might get to the REAL people who matter - the design team, the coders.

I'm sorry but when you have a profession thats in such bad shape no exaggeration there, no ones listening to you and they are ploughing forward regardless this was bound to happen.

I responded, cancelled half of the accounts two weeks ago, cancelled the other accounts and cancelled the pre-orders today.
Done. SOE is so aweful, so tragically incompetent, that they do not merit a penny of my subscriptions, and I want nothing more than to see them unemployed. I cannot continue to support them. They are trash.

They organized teams to assist them with the CURB. From the sound of it, our team was ignored. They say them selves that they'll ignore petitions. We've been discussing our issues here since we got the CURB info and have been largely ignored. Put pressure on them, you say? Careful, the last person that suggested that got the boot.
It's just so sad now, it's almost funny.
