Hey, do we really need a correspondent?
The developers will do whatever to get the CU out by EP3; voicing our concerns doesn't matter.
How much to the developerslisten to the correspondents anyways?
The best way to drive home our disgust with the CU is to simply boycot this "link" between players and developers.
Anyone who wants to step up and "work" with the developers needs to take a long look at their track record.
We're better off without one, I don't want a "yesman" speaking for me; that's all we're going to get.

I would have to say you have a point there. Its obvious that coorespondent is simply a name and that they obviously don't listen to em.

Not everyone is disgusted with the CU or the Developers. Some are acting in a more mature fashion (which is currently staying silent so as not to be flamed, like i probably will be)
Crying and screaming acheives absolutely nothing, its a waste of typing and waste of others reading.
Once this current bout of crying has ended, those who actually was giving positive feedback will hopefully come forth again, and i hope one of them will take up the AScorrespondant positionand work with the dev's on making things happen.
You may say Okram already did this. However i disagree, he was working conflicting against the dev's many views here was against the CU in general, and i get the feel he carried those views, rather than the contstructive feedback to the dev's.
He may have helped the community in the past a good deal, however that one event of getting everyone to PM a dev was political suicide. And did nothing to aid our cause.

Ahh you see... you dont understand.
If you have ever read the jedi forums you would know, correspondents are scapegoats for SOE, when something goes wrong with a profession, its suddenly the corr's fault for not doing something to help the community.
Uh-oh... the AS corr tried to help the community..

True. However, this is the armorsmith forum and the overwhelming majority of armorsmiths are disgusted with the CU and the developers.
Crying and screaming acheives absolutely nothing, its a waste of typing and waste of others reading.
True. Posts like "Who runs SOE? Darth Vader?", while humorous, do not achieve anything. However, actively coordinating our plan to deal with this debacle is not crying or screaming; it is showing our solidarity behind our correspondant and our unilateral displeasure with the simplification of our profession.
Once this current bout of crying has ended, those who actually was giving positive feedback will hopefully come forth again, and i hope one of them will take up the AScorrespondant positionand work with the dev's on making things happen.
Yes, there was positive feedback about the CU. However, there was far more negative feedback. Feedback concerning the AS profession was almost completely negative. I'm sure someone will, out of personal ambition or misplaced faith in the develpers, assert their design to be "our" correspondent.
You may say Okram already did this. However i disagree, he was working conflicting against the dev's many views here was against the CU in general, and i get the feel he carried those views, rather than the contstructive feedback to the dev's.
I know most armorsmiths disliked what happened to our profession in the CU. He was reflectingus by raising our concerns. That is the correspondents task is to bring on our issues.
We need answers; we deserve answers. I condone any method used to achieve these means.

this really makes me mad, the corr gets the boot when we need him the most. shows how much the devs "listen" to us.

Yup he did what we asked for. If your a proper AS by that i mean dedicated and this is how you enjoy your SWG experience by crafting armor you would know exactly how a majority of us feel by being dummbed down to "Tarted Up Tailors" (no offence to tailors).
