Thread: So most of the Crafting professions can not wear armor huh?

Hey Armorsmiths, I am a 3x Crafting profession, so I have no combat, does this mean I can not wear armor at all?

yep..you need a novice elite combat skill to get certified in an armor type.

WOW this sucks lol. Oh well I will let u all know how the DWB treats a level 7 triple crafting profession when I goto try and craft a Jetpack

Well what I am worried about is when I goto craft the pack, I get instant agro from starting the craft, and if they get a shot off, I will be dead. But we shall see what happens, all the people I am going with are level 80's

Combat Level plays the most important part in the equation.
I have found as a gimpy crafter, the stupid creatures that forced me to call a combat buddy are EASILY dispatched post CU. I remember when a pack of hounds or spiders could easily end my day of crafting because I could not find someone to clear them for me.
Now, I whip out my trusty rifle and blow them away (I am level 54 .. Master Medic, Doctor and Armorsmith).
I do not wear any armor (because I am Corellia's only naked doctor) only my skivvies and sandals (and sometimes my med use booster hat).
As far as the grouping thing, if you are grouped with a level 80 group, then I think you are treated as a level 80. With 2000 hitpoints give or take, it will take a couple shots before you get blown away unless you have REALLY bad luck.

We didn't have too much of a problem making a pack this morning. You just need some alert tanks and damage dealers.
I've found that hitting the NPC works better than taunt.

Yeah we had no problem at all, but a quick question?? Do we need to go loot another peice of BH armor? Cause all the looted pre CU ones are now showing up as crafted, so whats the deal?

And they are dropping the peices? Cause I have sat here and in my group we have killed about 75 BS on endor (Random spawns) With no drops, so does anyone know if maybe the Random Spawns on endor arnent dropping? Has anyone tried Dath or Yavin?
