Hi

Im starting to restock after CU (still have composite stocked tho as is pre cu padded / ubese)

1) I have all the ressouces but need to hear my fellow AS if a trend has revealed itself?

2) Do i go for ADV versions only?

3) Layers - as i understand those wont sell in the amount needed to justify the large hazzle with making em - ur experience the same?

Faction armor is a big seller, I sell maybe 10-15 suits of advanced unlayered rebel faction per day, could probably sell more if I could make them faster

Advanced is the way to go, I see very little market in non advanced, so far no player has asked me for one.

Most of my customers want balanced suits so nither kin or energy layers are interesting (perhaps kin layered recon or energy layered assault could be an option), and as one of my major selling points is price primus layers can not be justified for the protection they provide.

still my guild are buying and the bazzar is selling, so in the end it aint much but its good for me to start.

aye, advanced armor.

i sell a lot of reb armor too, just do an addie on your local trade or galaxy board and youll get spammed ingame... my suits cost me 17k fp and i charge 1mill pr suit 5890 protection.

regular battlearmor i charge 235k which corrosponds to the amount used by each piece times 1k. so a chest would cost 50k i charge the same for battle/recon and assault alike

Rebel Battle armor is a big hit with my customers.

I've only gotten a few requests for Rebel assult, none for rebel recon and too many for Rebel battle lol.

Battle is the big winner in my demographic.

I'd say recon and assault are trailing behind, about equally. Assault may be leading a bit, with recon at the bottom.

And advanced is definately the way to go. The other types just aren't worth it.Don't even bother with orlayers, unless you have a rich (And somewhat *cough*) customer who is willing to pay around one million credits extra for about 3-4% more protection.

this is a good thread. as a new armorsmith (almost at master) i have been quite curious as to what to start charging for armor.

i dont know about anyone else, but i really see a big need for non-advanced 'cheap-o' armor suits/components for the masses.

i really don't wanna start any bad trends that will see any further decline in the economy on my server, so i was looking for a little advise from some 'seasoned' AS Professionals.

1. Should i even bother putting any components on the Bazaar, or just keep them in a vendor?

2. Although the need is there for lower-quality suits at lower prices, is that a void that i should even be bothered to fill (as i'm sure ill have more than enough business selling advanced armor to higher skilled players)?

Yea, my advance stuff sells as fast as I can make it. Im also getting tells for the factional armor, but the customer gets mad whenI tell em the prices.

Recon seems to be the hot seller of the day for me. I sell 10 suits a night. Battle is next at around 3 to 4 suits and assault maybe 1 every other day now.

Space. Master Pilot and go overt and kill enemy faction npc ships.
Btw if you are smuggler yourself will only have to pay 66cr/fp if you are rebel and 73cr/fp for imp. Just get an inspiration buff before you buy them.

I have been only selling adv. armor with battle and recon being the hot ones. Most of my assault is faction armor. I've only gotten a few requests for non-faction assault. Faction armor is definitely the hottest thing right now.

I'm only a 2pt AS, but my Mabari armor that barely sold for 2000 pre CU has been flying off the shelf for 10,000 since the CU
