Thanks a lot, not really slapping your profession at all just doing it myself b/c I am not that rich and can't afford to pay 5 Mil for it when it does get made by a true Armorsmith so I figured might as well make it myself, learn from it, and contact a true armor smith and delegate him/her the faction, trade him the resources and maybe get a discount on the assault set. Anyway, ty for helping me out. /deepbow to all armorsmiths. Oh, by the way I so disagree with the CU making this available to just Armorsmiths and not the faction member like it use to be.

Faction members used to be able to buy marine recon and st armor , i think its great that they at least gave us something fun to play with after changing all our resources then increasing them , as im sure you know alot of AS have quit due to the demand and i myself was tempted until i realized i wanna do nothing but make armor no matter the hardship, it stinks for customers not only getting ripped off but useually getting crappy looted core built "fashion" pieces to boot . that to me isnt right , i hope that you find an honest smith cause i bet there is at least 1 on ur server , gl with the build and may you realize we dont just throw random objects together to make the stuff but it is actually alot of effort....maybe we will nab ya and ull stay AS

someone said this same thing to me soo he could make his swoop bike.. god i wish they never let people repect to a crafting class with out having CRAFTING points.. go find a crafting tool and make something. then again its all good now you will know how rough it is making armor and how much work it is.. then again a single suit aint $hit

::laughs at masterNOOB trying to figure out which end to put reasources in his crafting tool...

BTW.. if your not rich and want a suit of armor.. why not go find a freindly armor smith and ask him how you can make his life easier and do soem work for him.. just about every smith i know will gladly take a vet reward (resource kit) some hunting (hides) or dropiong some miners (resources) this game is about give and take my freind..

I bet most armorsmiths would even trade just about any full suit for a GDK scale... I know I would. What I dont understand is how he could afford the schematics, but not afford the armor. The only new schematics I have are the shock trooper ones, and they range from 1400fp to 9000. Seems to me tjhat it would be more expensive by far to purchse the schematics than it is to buy a suit of the armor... unless he is having trouble finding an honest armorsmith. More than a million credits for a suit of faction armor seems excessive to me.

well he could be one of those combat types that have capped out general status faction.. but yea the whole post makes no since.. your too poor to make a suit yet you have the resources to do it?? something just doesnt add up unless he has a smith freind that gave um all good stuff but then why wouldnt he just make the suit? and besides if you had the faction stored up you would have tons of money.. cuase if you are doing it in space your loaded.. then again maybe he spent all his money on twi'leks and jawa ale.. and a good spice addiction can really drain your wallet :

LOL!

Unfortuately for you it takes quite a while and a bit of cash to gather the resources you'd need for a suit with good stats.

If you don't care about stats, then use a "Clothing and Armor Crafting Tool" next to a private (not public) "Clothing and Armor Crafting Station". You'll need to buy a few small stacks of hides, steel, and iron and most importantly you'll need to buy some armor cores. Look for the cores on the bazaar under "Armor->Armor Cores". You might even get lucky and find some with good stats

Btw, the only reason I'm helping you with this in spite of the slap at my profession, is because I'm hoping more people who just want display pieces do the same thing. I can't tell you how many people want me to supply them with cheap faction armor just so they can resell it for 4 million at Dant MO. I'd rather just keep the customers who want the best armor for their own use.
