Thread: Has anyone else noticed this?
Hey guys,
I started this game as an Artisan, mastered it and moved on to several things. But I always got hit by NPCs with bloody crafting/surveying missions...
Well, I got my first Holocron whilst as a BH. It basically told me this:
"In order to be Lord of the Sith, you must be Lord of the Dance."
Uhm...yay.
Well I've been working on dance now, grinding away at getting the Novice Dancer box as soon as I can. But it gets boring, no? So I decide to go hunt in the fields...
I run into an NPC and decide "Why not, let's talk with him anyways..." And that's when he offered me: A dancing mission! My first non-artisan specific mission from an NPC, and it's for the class the Holocron told me to master. I've been checking with numerous other NPCs as well, just to be sure...and I'm getting dance missions now.
Crazy that even though I gave up artisan, I kept getting artisan missions. But the Holocron has decided my missions for me now, it appears. ![]()
to the above poster----->wrong
to the thread starter-------->i need to get a holocron then, I've been getting artisan missions and i gave up artisan over 2 months ago![]()
For what it is worth:
I was on Dantooine last night and I got a survey mission from a NPC rebel. I am a MCH, 1 box in rifleman profession, several boxes in novice medic, several boxes in novice marksman, and a few boxes in novice artisan.
You are kidding. There can be no such message. It is clearly stated in the Holocron, that it is impossible to bacame a Sith Lord. Only Empeator and Darth Vader are and none else.
So either you can show me the screenshot or you are very likely a liar. I might gues you forgott to take one?
Again: It is oppenly said by the DEV's that we will not be allowed to became Sith Lords.

You are kidding me, right?
I know you can't be a Sith Lord: It's called sarcasm. I had to give up BH to Dance for part of my path to FS....get it...lord of the sith....lord of the dance... /sigh.
As for you Casual: I'm not sure what your problem is, but if you just popped in the thread to be a fool: GFYS.
Thank you, Drive thru.
And yes, I know only 2 can be Sith. Of course, you may want to point that out to the DEVs and not me, as there is a mission in the came to kill....wait for it....a Sith Sorcerer.
A Sith Sorcerer you say? Well, that's more than 2 Sith then...guess someone at LucasArts forgot to watch the movies... ![]()
Limbonik, a lot of people are really on edge about this subject, so you have to be careful what you say. When you used quotes in your original message, I too thought you were quoting the game verbatim. It wasn't until later after you had been insulted that I looked back and saw you had said,
...It basically told me this...
Sorry for the confusion, but some of us thought you were really quoting the game. Sarcasm doesn't convey well in text.
As for the Sith Sorcerer, there's probably an obscure reference to people calling themselves that in the books or RPG,even though they arenot actuallya Sith Lord. Probably applies to someone who learned some of the Sith ways independent of a master.

Nah, I figured some wouldn't get it. That was expected, to be honest. As for the Sith.../sigh, that's an area I don't even want to get into. To many people wouldn't understand, I'm afraid. But in a nutshell: Vader and Palpatine aren't Sith, or even Sith Lords. They are Dark Lords of the Sith, but Marka Ragnos, Freedon Nadd and Ludo Kresh were Sith Lords, and also of the Sith Race.
Lucas just found a way to confuse people with the whole "Sith Lord" garbage. But, I digress.
