Thread: Is post-CURB Kashyyyk ceremonial armor as weak as it was before (same question for Black Mountain)

Ceremonial armor had, perhaps, 20% resists before the CURB -- it was, er, as the name says, ceremonial. I understand that this is now classified as "Reconnaisance" armor. Does this mean recon armor for wookiees is weak, or is the new ceremonial armor better?

Same question for battle / black mountain armor.

I don't know whether to start paying 100,000 for pre-CURB hunting armor and then refitting it to recon or battle, which gives good stats, or to see if the formerly weaker armors have improved.

Finally, I know there's a ton to complain about but I'm piling on anyway -- has anyone noticed all the wookiees in identical black mountain/battle armor now? Wish the colors and style could be experimented on, as with hunting/assault armor. All these look-a-like wookiees.

If SOE applied the CURB to a baseball program:

Manny Ramirez (level 65) approaches New York Yankees lair.

Randy Johnson (level 80) throws fastball to Manny Ramirez for 3345 MPH. Strike 1.

Randy Johnson (level 80) throws fastball to Manny Ramirez for 3345 MPH. Strike 2.

Randy Johnson (level 80) throws fastball to Manny Ramirez for 3345 MPH. Strike 3.

Manny Ramirez has been slain. Activing clone...

Carl Pavano (level 40) throws fastball for 12 MPH.

Manny Ramirez (level 65) hits HOME RUN for 2485 feet.

recon is all the same cores, battle is all the same cores, and assault is all the same cores. talk to your smith and find out what their armor stats are and you will have your answer.

I just stocked 25 suits of unlayered post-CURB Ceremonial Armor:
6500 energy
4500 kinetic
and
5500 elemental
190k a suit.
Ceremonial armor can be made as well as any other Reccon Armor. As for colar I made these in black. Thair is about 40 differnt colars to chose from for Ceremonial. The base of the armor is gold. So you want to pick a colar that goes with that. Most smiths go with gold or yellow. I like Green and Black. You can ask a Smith to make a suit with blue, tan or even pink if you want it.
I will be making kintic layered Recon soon. See if I can the kinetic to 7k.

One more thing. Hunting Armor is one of the most colarful armors in the game. Most smith make in black. Because Wookiees ask for Black. I had a great gray and blue suit with red and black feathers. But I would not stock that colar system. Ask a smith for a suit of yellow and red hunting armor. he/she can do it.
