Sorry New to Armorsmithing

What sort of stats should i get from a kinetic layer now in the cu ?

I got 14 Kinetic and -15 energythis does not seem worth it I did have 1 or 2 not so good resources but the rest were ok.

Some advice would be greatly apprieciated

Layers are currently bugged, logout and in again and it should show it's correct stats (probobly 70+).

the layers are bugged - when you experimented did you see the number go up? once you put it in the factory you will see the end result will be different - recommend throwing in the schematic and making one layer to check the stat

All points used, including FS and I get level 55 combat Char - whoopeee

Vendors Located at -634 -3409 outside of Dearic, Talus

Sony screwed all vet Crafters, no respec to full combat

leaving game - after 2.5 years

Yes your right i did not see the stats move up when i exprimented

Also what should I look for to get a good stat layer a couple of hundred ?

And are the old layers of any use now or is it best to use the new layers the Primus, Secundus etc...

Normal layers max out at 100 (primus at 50) but they stack, 4 layers per segment and 3 segments per advanced core = 12 layers. If you have +70 that would mean 840 extra protection of that kind (and 852 less of another).

Layers of interest is Kinetic, Energy and Primus. Don't think any smith will ever use any other as elemental damage is so low compared to kin/energy damage.
