One of my customers has told me he saw someone with 82% kinetic (56% base). I'm not sure it really exists because I didn't see it and my customer admits he was only going by what the person wearing it was telling him it was. But... Isn't the hard cap on crafted 80%? Is there any possible way to get around that? I also know (at least in the past) you can't slice specials and kinetic is the special on all the Kash armor. Is there a way some can exploit around that and slice the special?

The armorsmith who crafted the armor used STUN layers radther then kinetic..Meaning the kinetic is no longer in special protection allowing it to go into base, and be sliced to 82%. Hope that helped

kinetic is going to be in special protection regardless...as electric is to composite.

Thus, the person who saw 82 kinetic is lying.

Not possable...

Kinetic is the suits special protection... and 80% is the cap for specials...

So they are lying!

Kinetic is Ubese's special protection.

Composite normally does not have kinetic as a special protection, its only after adding a kinetic layer that it does. Hence if you do not put a kinetic layer in then it is one of the normal protections, then you can slice the kinetic protection above 80%. Just like my pvp suit 89-90% protection vs kinetic.

Ugh! Read the thread next time Gorggan!! Of course it's possible to get 90% kinetic COMPOSITE.....but it's NOT possible to go over 80% kinetic with Wookie hunting armour!!

Kinetic is ALWAYS a special protection like inubese.

Quick question, is kinetic the segment or the suit special protection? Or both? For composite Electric is only the SP in the segment, so if you don't use crafted segments you can keep electric sliceable, might it be the same way with wookiee armor?
