OK, teh current Yavin Evergreen wood is crappy. I mean REAL crappy... termite invested and everything. 21OQ, 73SR.
I was going to just wait to get a better shift of this wood before making the Hunting Armor, but thought I might ask here what other smithy's thoughts were.
Thanks!
I guess one viewpoint is some Hunting Armor is better than none... /dunno I do like to make quality armor.

Get it, and make it. Wood is kinda funny as it can seem to stay in-shift much longer than most other resources. Just make some and see what it comes out like.
Im using crap Yavin Evergreen, and Crap Dath Evergreen (with stats similar to your Yavin), and it still makes nice armor.

I used that junk. Didn't turn out too bad - 80% kin, 66% base. New shift of Dant. avain is crap though, so I'm waiting one of the two out before I make more.

Definately give it a try. With what I consider crappy resources acrosss the board im makin 80Kin, 60Base. Ride the wave man, untill resources get better Wookies are buyin this stuff up! And to be honest how much higher can the base get. Yes the energy and stun layers can make it better. But until then...

Seems to me, the organics required for hunting armor just shifted from Bad to worse on shadowfire.

I am making 80 kinetic, 71 energy and 58 base. I use two kinetic layers at 4% base and 6% kinetic and then use the rest to drop the ham to 10/9/10, then I add in one 3% base 12% energy layer. I have also been using the crappy Yavin wood. When I make the segments I experiment fully on the base and then experiment the kinetic up to 24% and then use the rest on HAM.
