I'm going to be a master smuggler. I decided to get novice WS and AS to make my own materials. Decided crafting might be fun, but too dumb to do an elite crafting prof, so I'm mastering artisan. Ifigure there may be a market in Mos Eisley for decent sliced n00b weapons, so I'm getting the WS exp/ass line and the first melee and gun crafting boxes. I also figure I can make full sets of bone armor to fit a newbie budget. Here's my question. For bone armor, do AS exp and assembly help or is it just artisanexp/ass? Also, would It be worth it to go up the personal armor tree to get advanced bone sgments? Is it that big a difference? Thanks for any information or opinions.

if you are thinking about making noob armor you should do them a favor and make them mabari instead of bone. Bone armor gives energy resistances and not kinetic. Most new players don't know this. Bone armor offers no protection from critters when hunting in the early days.
any armor is better than no armor, however mabari is the way to go on noob armor

OK thanks. I didn't know that. then should i drop any extra points in experimentation, or go for advanced armor weave segments? I'm not sure how many skill points i got, though.

I dont think that you will be able to sell "better" mabari for any more than "crappy" mabari. Most noobs just want whatever is available. I think you are better off keeping exp points
my $0.02

The exp/assembly line also gives you the better color pallette. If you find you can aford a couple boxes, it would be nice. However, just make sure you don't leave it the default color ( I mean, you don't want to wear pink/ baby purple do you??) At novice you still get black, and a nice brick red/maroon color you can use. Make sure you put the color in the title, and it'll sell alot faster than non-colored items.

The experimanted Mabari sells much better than the crap you normally see on Bazaar. It doesn't take much sense to know that 25%>6%.
I'm speaking from experience. I used to sell 4-5 suits per day while the other junk rotted.
Unless you're just grinding towards master, get the experiment points first and make some decent stuff. The new players will definetly appreciate it.

imo if your going to grind the assembly/expirement line it wouldnt be worth it not to master.. it takes quite a while to complete one line.

I don't think the WS Expeirment line helps when experimenting with Artisan level weapons either.

Hey skinny, I'm making a new toon on Intrepid as an armorsmith. I can make bone armor with kenetic resist, it only goes to about 8% but if you use voritor segs you can. But unless this guy is hunting voritors, what you said might as well be true.
