Thread: New AS Question, possible bug?

Morning =)
I have been hard at work over the last few weeks gathering resources to make armor. Yesterday I finally made my first factory run of Ubese armor.
I was unpacking it this morning, my chest plate, and boots were white. I KNOW I chose black as the color. The server was going down so I did not get the chance to askanyone onlineto try it on and see if maybe its a bug in the icon.
So I thought I would come here and ask if it has happened to anyone else?

Old bug actually, we have been suffering from the factory color bug for what? The last three publishes now I think? I haven't done any runs since then, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reson to what gets the right color and what doesn't. Check the issue list stickie for a little more info on it.

I guess filing a ticket asking for help would be totally useless? I just want all one color armor. Now I have 42 crates of mismatched armor 
I can't sell a set of armor that is not the same color I don't want to put just pieces on my vendor. I have spent weeks gathering resources and harvesting hide and such for my armor *cry* I certainly don't want to sit and craft 42 crates of armor by hand. I also don't want mismatched stats on my sets. I have to wonder if SOE ever actually thinks about the customer.

That really sucks and I feel for you, but yeah you are probably stuck with that. It shouldn't be this way, but it is a good idea to check each forums bug/issue lists before you do ANYTHING in this game. I don't craft, buy, or attempt a quest without checking to make sure it will work. Assuming it will (like you should be able to) is asking for trouble....
Please start fixing this stuff!

doh... I got hit by the same bug. I was searching for that "Known Issues" link for AS. Unfortuneately they seem to have pulled most of the stickies off the AS forums. At least most of it was just gloves and boots, so I didn't lose many cores. Just a bugger that I'm going to have to make over 100 suits of armor by hand to get the colour right.

ugh and I thought 45 suits was a lot
My only problem is having to search for known issues before I start doing anything. I had no clue that crafting armor would be a gamble. Why can't they send out emails when these things happen. I don't have time to stay in the forums *sigh* I checked the "Top Known Issues", there was nothing there. Same with BE tissues, nothing.
I lost over 600 BE tissues for melee and ranged defense. Now 45 suits of armor.
Just think we pay to play I am about ready to give up. Thats weeks upon weeks of work for nothing at all. Then the armor I have to spend hours on end crafting armor by hand if I want a complete set of matching colors. *bangs head on desk*
