I just reached Deflectors II last night (now at 3-1-2-3) and was all excited that i was getting to make PSGs now when i discovered that i need two components for the schem, power conditioner and energy distributor, and that i couldn't make them because i wasn't a master artisan. So this morning i spent a few hours /tell MAs and looking on vendors for these items but it seems noone makes these things or sells them.
So, armorsmith community on Ahazi server, where do you get your PCs and EDs or who do i need to speak with to set up an order for this stuff? Any and all help is appreciated.

I don't know about Ahazi, but on Kauri, it seems people are manufactured itemophobic. I've had crates of items useable by other crafter on sale for months and nobody wants them. Items that sell out in a day will never be touched if in a crate.. even if atafraction ofthe price of buying separately

Anyone have any ideas for me, people to talk to, vendors to visit, to solve my problem? Any help is appreciated.

I went asking different master artisans myself, since I don't have the lots for equipmentfactories. After trying a bit you should be able to find atleast one provider. You might want to start the other way around though, find an artisanshop with a good stock of any artisanitem, that means he/she is dedicated to the craft, then contact that artisan with your order and you'll often see that work out quite well.
When you finally get a supplier try to stick with that person if possible. You'll probably get better prices as time passes and you don't have to worry about trying to find another artisan.
Also, tell the artisan that the resourcequality used in the components does not matter to you, they can then skip some of the costs leading you to a cheaper product. Components does not carry over any stats to your shields. Preferably you would want them all to have the same serial in case you are going to massproduce with a factory of your own.

The quality of the artisan sub-components in a shield generator don't matter? Really?
I'm just strting armorsmithing so I havn't gone up that branch yet. I thought the tailor made cloths in armor didn't matter, it's good to hear that with any components you'd have to obtain elsewhere, you don't need to worry about the quality.

Non-Armorsmith subcomponents do not affect the item's overall stats.
This goes for:
Reinforced Fiberplast Panels
Synthetic Cloth
Power Conditioners
Energy Distributors
The perfect self-sustaining template for Master Armormsith is:
Master Armorsmith
Master Artisan
Master Merchant
Novice Tailor to Field Wear II
A lot of Masters are setup this way so they don't have to bother other crafters in order to get a schematic made.
Hides on the other hand... You're on your own in getting a Ranger who will sell to you at a reasonable price.

Here is what you do
go buy the resources for a factory run of 1000
buy an equiptment factory or yuse your buddies
find a master artisan (every PA has at least one)
pay them to make you a schematic
make 1000 of each part in your factory
then you are good for a long time......or you are rich from selling psgs, and you can pay someone else to do the same thing for your next batch.
I pay someone. I have an artisan buddy, I drop off enough stuff to make 1000 units at his place, he makes the schematic and throws everything in my factory (gave him admin on it). I just have to go by and pick it up
