HAM costs will always be high with stun protection as the main way to lower ham is at the layer stage, and if youre spending all your experiment points in stun resist, its not leaving much for ham reduction.
Most people understand that and can live with it, however there is a point when ham gets a bit too high (over 900 mind for instance, means most people cant wear it even with brandy) and you just have to take a choice.
Its tough for 10 point smiths, and thats the choice youve got to make... either sell lower resistance to maintain the HAM costs to a reasonable level, or just go all out to ignore the HAM worries and sell for the 'uber buff' market at a price which they couldnt afford not to pass on (for instance, if you price it low enough compared to established 12 point masters you should get sales even if your armour is relatively inferior to theirs)
However, the stun protection market is still a tough market to break into, and maybe you should insteadbe worrying more about unlayered suits and/or kinetic/energy suits which are usually easier to manage with low experiment points as you can put more into HAM reduction.

Personally my minds stats are at 1100/950/950 with the other 6 non-mind stats at 400.
Alot of true pvpers operate like this, and as such bolting on a huge heavy 3 layered armor.... bring it on.

As far as all the good PvP'ers having their mind stats that high. Sorry but ive seen plenty of damn good NON human PvP'ers that cant put their mind that high. Only the truly weak toss all their points into mind.

Now the other question is, ok, I can get 80% base kinetic armor and 62% base with an avg of 500 encumberance, from all I see thats impossible to do with all 3 layers into stun, is it possible with 2 layers for stun? Is it possible with some loot component?
Any ideas on this? Trying to get a full stun suit, about 60% base and keep the encumberance under 650 or so.

When I PVP,
first of all im a Trando Rifleman, I have a set of Comp with 36% stun on the helm, chest, and legs and the rest is like 80% kenetic. After Taking Doc Buffs, 2 420+ brandy, and2 (I could take 3)660+ canape, I don't even feel it when I spam Headshot 3, so BRING ON THE HEAVY STUFF, I can wear it

Yes but in 10 minutes when that canape fades your ham costs sky rocket.

May I ask how your stun helmet turned out? Just wondering what the ham costs are with the examples you gave.
