I see some ppl selling 80% acid comp. who would benifit from this, and overall, what sort of market is there for this theoretically, as compared to say energy comp or heat comp?

The only real use would be acid layered chest and helmets to prevent :

Bounty hunter (eye shot and various body targetting shots)

Riflemen (DXR-6Bs or whatever theyre called targetting the head)

Pistoleers (DX2) Targetting the body

In that respect, everyone else has a use for them.

A Jedi should always have an Acid helm, cuz Bounty Hunters love Krayt Scatters. Generally hotkey between that and the stun helm. DX2 pistols aren't very popular though, since people seem to like FWG5's and most smiths aren't working on heat layers too much. It's probably only adavantageous to make Acid Helms (And color them green so they look cool, hehe)
