Hi all,
I posted about 6 months ago about the use of Rancor Padded Segments in padded armor. Everyone here was more than helpful in letting me know that not only did they not work, but that I would be wasting my BE tissues if trying to use those as well.
Well, that said. Did the dev's fix this yet? I would really like to have rancor padded armor w/ BE skill mods. Also, I recently read your replies to the NS Shard/Layer questions (further down this page on the forum). Could NS shards be used along with the rancor padded segments to help lower the enc of this padded armor?
Just a few questions before I start /telling every MAS I see walking around Theed/Coronet to make me a set.

Yes, you can now use Rancor Padded Armor Segments in padded armor now. If you can get the really nice ones (about 25+%base), then they can come relatively close to composite.
No, the BE skill mods will not come through in any armor at anytime. The devs have stated that this is intended and will not be changed. Of course, they could decide to do this a year or two down the line, but in the meantime, I wouldnt wait.
No, you cannot use NS Shards/Layers in conjunction with Rancor Padded Armor Segments.
