The big question is double or triple layered. I'm making 80% kinetic. When I double layer it I get these stats
DOUBLE LAYERED KINETIC
80% Kinetic
77% Electric
59% Rest
Encumberance
68
65
70
TRIPLELAYERED KINETIC
80% Kinetic
77% Electric
64% Rest
Encumberance
88
85
80
Now as you can see the triple layered is 5% better on base stats, but it has 20% more ham, and of course it's gonna take more resources due to having a 3rd layer. The double layered is lighter and only 5% less....I can't decide!!! I know if I was buying the armor, i'd go for the lower ham, but some people don't care about encumberance.
Help me decide!
Thanks!

What are the stats on your layers and segments? Your ham cost seems quite high to me. I believe you may be overexperimenting Kinetic instead of spending some appropriate points on ham reduction.

Doh, no wonder my ham costs are so high... I didn't know I could lower them in expirementation. I didn't know that durability lowered encumberance. Question! What should my kinetic layers look like? Mind giving me an example? I realize our resources are going to be different but i'd like to see what I should aim for.

2% base, 6% kinetic will work for triple. dont know about double. hams 4/4/4-1/1/1 depending on points used and resources etc. just a basic suggestion. you have to figure out the details yourself for your own resources and such. also i'm 12pt, so i can squeeze out more ham and resists then normal. but 2/6 should work for you
