I have only been a Master Armorsmith for about 2 weeks. I haven't had time to do much in the way of mining resources but I've bought resources as I could find them for sale and managed to get enough resources to make 25 suits of Advanced Composite Armor. I've done quite a bit of experimentation, reading forums and such, and wanted feedback regarding my first run of this armor. Stats are 80% Kinetic, 75% Electricity, 63% Base(Triple Layered Kinetic). I do not have any skill tapes so I am a generic 10 point Armorsmith, have relied only on what resources I could find through the bazaar and by doing several half-day runs across planets to resource vendors. This armor is pre-sliced and I hope to get some good slices (my small but rapidly growing guild currently wants high resists and told me to ignore ham costs since they always get doctor/entertainer/food/drink buffs before combat). Just wondering if this is a decent first run. I would definately like to get the base up, but current spawns of Fiberplast and Wooly Hide on my server (Flurry) are not very good and older spawns of these resources seem very hard to come by. I'd like to getarmor skill tapes but I doubt that will come any time soon. I told my guild that I would sell my first few runs of armor to guild members only at 150k per set. Is that a decent price for them considering the stats of the armor? Looking for feedback and any suggestions that might help make my next run of armor even better. I made a few chest pieces of triple layered electricity armor just to see what my base would be and if I could have it sliced to be as good/better in kinetic than what I could do with the kinetic layered. The results weren't good enough for me to do that right now and I know that with better resources and higher experimentation in the future, that will be the way to go. Anyways, please let me know what you think on how I'm doing.
