Tell em to shut up. Armor decays.

You can experiment the top line (durability) to increase condition though.

to answer your question: no

but it's absolutely normal that ubese condition is down in a few days, particularly the chest.

screw your customers

Only thing you can do is sacrafice base for condition. They can't have both, so try and make some that way and see how they sell.

Dude, You are making real good ubese........and Armor does decay....but having 1000 more hit points in durability is not going to change to much.....Keep up the good work

Like the other posts say, all you could do is use your experiment pts on durability and maybe choose materials with a high Decay Resistance. Still, I'd argue people wouldn't pay well for high durability armor, if the resists are sacrificed.

Next time you get a complaint about the durability recommend to your customers that they only don their armor right before they fight and not to waste it on weak mobs.

don't fight with your ubese on against ranged energy mobs. The guys that are complaining are probably running around in the geo cave. A set of ubese if good for about 3 NS elders or 4 canyon krayts. Then you need a repair tool. Also, it repairs easier if you don't slice it. No reason to slice ubese anyway.

I acutally had this question recently (kinetic/HAM vs kinetic/base). I would poll anyone who bought my armor (for a chance to win a full suit bi-weekly) if they prefered my 72%/22% ubese vs some 72%/19% lower ham ubese. I would also ask what they used it for. Odd thing was most folks only used it for solo missions or farming from melee mobs and yet wanted kinetic/base. So while it doesn't make sense thats what I tend to stock now.

I usually tell the customer...

It's an armorsmith conspiracy to relieve them of their credits. The lower the condition, the more they have to buy.

As others have said... there is really no point in beefing up the base resists. If you are trying to give morecondition to the armor instead of lowering HAMafter maxing out Kinetic then fine, but if anyone is using Ubese on ANYTHING other than Kinetic mobs then they are wasting it.

I have done almost all of Swordsman on ONE set of 73% Kinetic Ubese doing only Hurtons/Mokks/Jantas/Kungas and still have about 12k out of 18k on my Jacket.

I used my ubese to grind unarmed, then moved to comp for the pistol xp. Never paid attention to encum or base on the ubese, because it wasn't relavent for what I was doing.
