I have 11 of each of the RIS components needed to make RIS. 11x wooly bones, 11x GDK, 11x Gurk Hides.

The armorsmith that is going to make my armor has never made RIS before and has not done the quest yet.

Is it true that the armorsmith needs to make the armor before they can even get the schematics for future uses......basically meaning that9 our of my 11 pieces are going to be burned up in order to get the schematics?!?

I am confused, please help.

yea he has to make a layer, a seg, and then a pair of boots

The RIS Fact or Fiction thin didnt have the info i was looking for and refered to an RIS FAQ, do you have a link to the FAQ?

Yep, the armoursmith needs to do the quest first. This will use 2 Wooly Fragments, 2 Gurk Recluse Hides, 1 Peko Peko Feather and 1 GDK Scale, and of course the basic resources. So you will still have enough left to make your full suit.
