K, I'm a 1-0-0-0 Armorsmith, so as you can easily see, I'm new to this prof, seeing as this is also my first crafting prof I have just about no experience in selling things. All I can make atm is low grade chitin with at the best, 10% resists. I am kinda poor, and Armorsmith isn't the chepest proffestion to master. seeing as I'm not a master in any combat professions either, money is kinda hard to come by so I was wondering what a reasonable price is for 10% chitin armor? I've asked in-game before, and the only response I've ever gotten was "nothing" and I can understand why somone would say that, but I really do need an idea of how much to sell this for, so could I please get a hand?

thanks, I do have combat skills, but am only a 1-1-0-0 rifleman, so its hard to get fast cash. Basically what I was asking is what a good price to sell noob chitin is, besides, bone armor is more popular than mawabi, so making mawabi is basically just a waste of resources

if you dont have combat skills you may have a hard time getting all the organic resources for chitlin (hides and bones)

You might be better off with mabaru for a while, as you can mine most of the resources. Get yourself some mineral extractors, keep half of the resrouces, and sell the rest on the bazaar for extra cash. One thing all crafters need is resources.

also all noobs start in entha, so you can sell your mabari there and pull a profit.

Also armor upgrade kits are cheap to make, you can sell those on the bazaar too.

/remembers back in the day when I was starting

/sigh

good luck

prices are different per server.

as an AS you can educate the noobs on what armor to buy. If bone armor is more popular than mabari, they dont understand how armor works. Bone armor offers no kinetic protection, but mabari does. Even a 10% kinetic resist on mabari offers a 60% reduction in damage taken by mobs. The bone armor gives no protection against the low level mobs those noobs are fighting. An informed customer is a happy customer. You might have to explain things to them, but really no noobs should be running around in bone armor, unless they just wanted out of their attire and couldnt find anything else.

also sell your stuff in entha on the bazaar, that is where all noobs start out now

All the "noobs" star in Mos Eisley now.

Entha is still a ghost town

If your main goal atm is to get some revenue flow, I recommend crafting Armor Upgrade Kits for use by Smuggler. You should be able to sell them for 5K per crate of 25 and make a decent profit. You will need an equipment factory to produce these.

Tadpole Stillwater
Kettemoor - M Armorsmith 12pt, RIS - M Artisan - M Merchant KETTEMOOR Vendor location is on Corellia, just 700 m South of Coronet, WP -123, -5508 in the Factory Direct Mall
Bloodfin - TKM - Pistoleer - Artisan BLOODFIN Vendor at -371, -5540, just 900m south of Coronet. Weapon and Armor Repair Tools(99.6% FR), Melee and Ranged Powerups(1000 credits per crate) and Crafting Tools(+14.67 for 1000 credits).
Chimaera - TKM - Ranger - pimp for MrRandy, the galaxy's favorite Buff-bot...

ok, but im offer you advice thats completly different then theirs...

grind out a lot more rifleman first...concentrate on that for lil while, sotckipile lil cahs on those quekner missons, and also keep track of where the good hides and bone are spawning , and begin stocking up, while u lvl ur rifle, if this works where u can take missons, even better, its very hard to do an elite craftign with no money, Just stick with it and you'll get there, but i think you will find ur AS progression much better when u have a side profession to help you.
