My main concerns are the looks...I understand that a lot of people don't care how their characters look...witnessed by the way they dress up in whatever. Thats fine if they want to do that, but I like my wookiee to look decent, and feathers do not a wookiee make.

My suggestions would be this:

1. Remove the silly look feathers...they would not last 2 minutes in a battle with anything tougher than a meek avenging squall or fleshing eating chuba.

2. Remove the ugly looking helmet piece attached to the chest plate. Overall, I could actually wear the hunting armors if they didn't have the helmet attached...but I have a barred and feathered bucket stuck to my head.

3.I would be happy with something simple, but not necessarily primitive looking. Simple plating strapped toour limbs would look striking, would offer protection, and would keep other races feeling toosmall with their lower pre-buff HAM's.

All of our clothing and armor does not need to look like it's been sewn together with yarn and was made on accident when we fell out of a tree and everything we hit on the way down became our armor. Also, what kind of self respecting wookiee wears a feather in his hat...we're wookiees, not a scarlet pimpernel prancing and preening at a party like some trussed up peacock. Wookiees are atechnologically advanced as well as technologically savy race of beings. Just because we live in the trees doesn't mean everything we wear is bone and hide.

Maybe I'm the only wookiee with style...not sure, but I would sooner die lots and cancel my subscription from frustration than live longer and hate the way my character looks until i cancel.

a lot of wookies complained and complained that they didnt get armor

then they got armor

then some of thsoe same wookies complain and complain that the armor, looks stupid, has bad resists, isnt on par with other armors etc.

then they announce two more armors, and they will be on par with ubese and composite

then this guy comes and complains that he has to have feathers on his armor, and whines about how lame he will look until he cancells.

if you are going to cancell because of something like this, do it. My god wookies are getting some love and there is always that one guys who just complains. If you don't like the armor don't wear it, don't buy it. Become a crafter, go to anther server and make a nonwookie toon. No one is forcing you to look lame but yourself

Don't confuse me with someone who wants composite level armor for wookiee's, I could give two craps about that...but if they are going to give Wookiee's a HAM advantage and give everyone else armor...and then buff everyones HAM's to astronomical levels where the differance between a wookiee and human HAMsnegligable, then I think we have every right to armor. I would love to see some Mabari and Ubese level armors and thats all...but I think Wookiee's have a right not to look like their armors were made of twigs and stone.

I am perfectly fine with wearing no armor, and I will continue to not wear armor while it looks stupid. I love the fact they added wookiee armor, I am just sad that they never run the ideas by the people who will have to wear it. Lastly, I didn't say I was going to cancel because of the armor...I said I would cancel if the game became more frustrating than enjoyable. I don't find it enjoyable to have a character who looks like crap any more than I find it enjoyable to have a character that consistantly gets his butt kicked because all the encounters require full composite and stats buffed by medics and spices. Also, since you appear to be TRUELY righteous...I already did cancel...for about the last 6 months, not that it really matters. I'm giving it a go again to see how the game changes with the new Jedi questing and theJTL expansion.

As for wookiee's not having necks, my wookiee has a neck...many wookiee's have necks, easy enough to just have a helmet or not even have helmets at all for wookiee's...leave a weak spot to make up for the increased HAM's...not that it matters at this point in the game with buffs, like I said above. The only wookiees that don't have necks are the beefcake wookiees, and they still have a little bit of a neck...you just don't see it because they are so god awful to look at that you avert your eyes before you see it.

I do appreciate your willingness to make yourself look like a jerk, at least we got that out of the way early and hopefully we can move past that and on to more constructive posts.

just stating some things I noticed about the wookie armor movement

I am happy that the overwhelming majority of wookies and non wookies alike find the look of these new armors good and are happy with the designs.

you cant make everyone happy, I am guessing that they did talk to a few people about the design, I would think that more people like the design than those that don't
