Ever since the publish I still have the little red boxes. When are these going away?

Nobody knows. The armor shirts/belts/bando's still work so I doubt it's a priority. There is even something in the holocron that stated something like, "although some items display red, they will function as normal."

So the 20 crates of 4 socket shirts I made post publish will in fact work? People get rather upset when they buy something, equip it and 2 minutes later it's broken.

They work, and the bonuses from tapes apply just like they used to. Just let your customers know they need to equip the item to socket it. Equipping the item turns it green, you can't socket it when it's red.
