Hi

I was wondering if someone could help me in the way i am setting up my layers and such , i will give a full list of my resorces and how i set them up.

Kinetic protection armor layers

polymer (eheiwan) OQ 965 SR 723 UT 32 MA 891 DR 129

Carbonite steel (mere) OQ 963 SR 896 UT 935 MA 350 DR 900 HR 923 CO 604 CR 794

Amorphous gemstone (quadtrillofiam) OQ 871 SR 102 UT 209 MA 44 HR 691 DR 225 CR 184 ER 150

With these i max out the second line and put the rest in the third (i am a 10 point smith btw) and end up with 4% Base 6% Special

I place 3 of these into an adv comp segment with following resources :

Colat iron (autewpium) OQ 958 SR 736 UT 712 MA 398 HR 774 DR 689 CO 235 CR 448

Polysteel copper (olebide) OQ 699 SR 751 UT 734 MA 978 HR 646 DR 620 CO 938 CR 794

Kiirium steel (eneheo) OQ 553 SR 578 UT 493 MA 66 HR 637 DR 598 CO 64 CR 167

I know the copper or steel is not that good but its the best i can find atm

With these i max out second line and then 2 on the 3rd line and end up with 31% Base 12% Electrical 18% Kinetic , Integrity 1109 HAM 61/61/63

so for the final assembly , the resources are as follows :

Known solid petro (bera) OQ 986 PE 428 DR 132

I end up with Special Protection 80% Kinetic 75% Electricity and Energy,Blast,Heat,Cold,Acid all 63% , HAM 82/80/85 and thats for gloves

Using the exact same resorces , do you think it is possable to gain any improvment on the Electricity and the Base on the way i set up my layers and segments.

No. The only way KINETIC resist's will go higher then 80% is if you are making STUN Composite armor (Or when the kinetic is in the base effectivess level). For example: I make 40% STUN 71% (in the special protection area) and for the base % I get 62% ( And kinetic is in the base not in the SPECIAL PROTECTION area). And if you would get it sliced you can possible get the kinetic up to 70-90% area. Get my drift?

Sorry my fault , i meant is there anyway to still keep the 80% kinetic , while making the 75% on the electricity or 63% base higher , is there a better way to set up my layers and adv comp segments to get this

Your saying, is it possible to keep the 80% kinetic 75% ele and 63% base, or try to make the base higher and still keep the 80% kinetic and 75% ele? Yes of course

Well I make (custom orders) LOW HAM Advanced Composite armor (3 layers: All kinetic) for some customers, and the base runs around 63-65% base still 80% kinetic and 73-75% electric..

Also I make 70% base 80% kinetic 79% electric Composite armor (using 3 layers: all kinetic). The base and eletric raises but and the 80% kinetic stays the same, even tho I am highering the other areas... Did I answer your question? If not PM me or leave another message

The set you mentioned that you make of 70% base 80% kinetic is the goal i am trying to reach , i also used 3 kin layers at 4% base and 6% special but am unsure whether it would be best going for 3%base 7% special or similar.

A lot of customers are wanting the 80%kin 80% electric with 70% base but even if i got 80%kin 80% elec and 60% base i would be happy

My post was a big long but usually i leave off info , so made sure this time nothing was left out

I have not yet had a chance to get 80% electric, it's always 79% ..Yea most people like the 80% kinetic 70% base 79% ele on my server (Lowca). But pvp wise STUN is the way to go..

Thought id actually start posting on the armorsmith forums..Ive been a smith for over 6months now lol...
