Thread: armor decay, how many extra chest/helmets/legs/boots do you produce?

Hi,
beeing in the biz for a few months now i am realizing that the body parts decay a lot faster then the arm parts.
at what ratio are you producing chests and stuff?
i am doing 3 chest, 2 leg/helmet/boots 1 of each other part
can you confirm this or are you making them at diffrent ratio?

I like the number 25 when producing pieces. It makes things a bit easier when making a run: 1 crate synth cloth, 1 crate rein. fiber panel, half a crate to 2 crates of segments, etc.
So, I make 25 full suits (9 pieces), then 25 of each of the other pieces (chest/helm/boots/gloves). That also comes close to using up all the segments if I did a full run of 1000 segments (I also like making 3 different layers in order to make full factory run of 1000 segments). The rest of the leftover segments can go to making any extra pants/arms as needed.
This seems to be working pretty well for me, but it's a new strategy so too early to really tell. Plus, I'm obviously a low volume smith so can't be sure if my sales are representative. I can say I'm surprised at how many of arms/pants do sell.

I do 45 suits to a run using a full 1000 segment run (minus some exp segments). I now Bag almost all my suits other then spare helms/chests/legs for slicing.
Keeps things easy.

190 Helms
180 gloves
180 Boots
150 Arms+pants
this is what I produce a week for the last few months got a bagged vendor and a singles loaded with all parts
the Helm chest glove boot bug makes the arms and pant behind of the gloves and boots so make less of them
