Thread: Faction armor-too pricey for the same crap
Supprisingly quite a few people. My guildmembers for one up and got me all the FP I needed and then some for all the schematics and to get me to colonel so I could hold boatloads of FP just so they could have factional armor. As they find it in general far better looking than padded armor etc.
I've also had ALOT of requests for it on bria.
Though I do agree FP costs are way out there still.
Its truly silliness the costs involved.
Except there's nothing really 'new' about it. Except for the factional armor. There's also a solid core of folk allready swearing that armor makes their lives easiser, And be it true, or false. They'll go on beliving it (just like there are still to date people who insist that there are armor paint kits) and so there will allways be -some- sort of market. But definately not anywhere near as big as there used to be.
There's allway some one willing to pay to have that extra tiny edge. As for armor prices. Well. You can definately blame that on alot of things. And I wouldnt be supprised to see prices on materials dropping as a result. I've allready had rangers charge me less for hide by a significant ammount. People who wanted just a month ago 90CPU for hide, turn around and now only want 40-50 CPU.
And dont forget we can control the costs to a certain degree. If you simply refuse to pay for something over X ammount. Stick to your guns. And likely you'll find some one else who would be willing to sell it to you at a more reasonable price. I've ceertainly never paid 90 CPU for any hide. And yet I've allways gotten at least a decent ammount of the same stuff I've seen other AS pay 100 or more for.
