With the average cost of Factional Armor set at 1.4 million on our server, how can i make that amount of money before the suit is worthless. In PVP a jedi does 47 damage per hit of damage to the armor with a level 2 lightsabre, with long fights eating the armor up horribly.A average factional mission needs a group and pays 10 k cr. Assuming i do nonstop missions and he group has 3 people and i average 4 k per mission with the loots it will take me 350 missions to make the credits to buy a new suit of armor. The armor will be lucky to make 75 missions, how can anyone afford to use factional armor. The new armor is more expensive to make and I think the 1.4 million price tag seems reasonable, just not viable.

Dont take this the wrong way please. The extra price is due to the FP cost to make it not including your FP clost to link it. That concept leads me to believe the Dev's only wanted the really wealthy to have it since you cant possibly charge less and 1.4m is pretty cheap.
Armor has gone from something everyone could attain and need to something no one in their right minds can see the cost benefits of and has becomes useless due to wear and tear.

You forget Bria is the land of the super-super credit dupers. LOTS of credits floating around from back in the day. Hell 1 guy still has 11 trillion stuffed away somewhere.

No I havent forgotten. And it's not just the ultra rich buying it either. It just makes for more inflated costs as peple want far more for the same resource on Bria as on another server.

I charge 1.4 million for faction armor...the extra cost to me is not the faction. I respeced to master smuggler, so even as an imperial twi'lek I've brought the cost way down since I bought my first set of schematics (30k fp....now I'm down to about 12k). It's the fact that I have to hand craft each piece. I'm overburdened now. Apparently I'm the only smith on the server who is publicly stocking faction armor. (A few are privately stocking friends or taking orders.) I could easily charge more, but I want it to be available to as many people as I can. My expectation was to charge about half that.
