I have a Mando helm & the respec option is to dismantle it. Does anyone know what this will do, or should I keep it how it is?

The current stats are 4185 across the board - buta lot of the new respec'd armour is better.

Any ideas?

It may not be as good as other stuff though it is still rare and cool looking so i would keep it, i wear my blacksun helmet into combat sometimes and that gives me no protection.

You could likely sell it and make enough to buy a full suit of uber armor! Don't destroy it though, it's worth more as what it is than as a mere piece of armor!

Recraft it with primus-layered 6000 base health enhanced segments. Mando doesn't deserve anything less!

Dismantling it will give you a schmatic to make 1 piece of armor of the type you dismantled. Seeing as you said you have the helmet you would in return get a schmatic to a helmet that a DE would have to learn and can then craft you a new one with better stats and whatever color you choose.
